7 Years! A day out with us.

Hey everyone!

For this post, I wanted to do something different so I thought, why not take you guys on a day out with me?

On the 23rd July 2017, it was mine and my boyfriend’s 7 year anniversary, and seeing as we were unable to celebrate it last year, we decided to take a little trip to somewhere fancy and have some lunch and some bubbly to mark the occasion.

We live in a little village called Millbrook which is in Cornwall. We live right next to the river Tamar meaning while we are very close to Devon, it means crossing the river by ferry or driving over the Tamar Bridge into the closest city to us, Plymouth. One of the best parts (or at least I think so), of living in Millbrook is being able to catch the Cremyll Ferry at Mount Edgcumbe over to Plymouth, and then being able to walk to the Royal William Yard (a rather posh part of Plymouth.

The Royal William Yard is one of my favourite places to go for a celebration, a cocktail or a evening meal. I love the atmosphere and the buzz over there. It’s so sophisticated and has such a nice vibe and the fact that I can have that and then jump on a ferry home to carry on with my quiet village life afterwards.

We decided for our 7 year anniversary we wanted to visit one of our favourite restaurants Prezzo. We both ordered a glass of prosecco (prosecco + me = happy lady!) and a calzone. We ‘cheers’d’, laughed, ate and drank all while taking in the beautiful scenery and reminiscing the memories we have made over the last 7 years. It was a lovely day, and after a stressful few months it was perfect to just spend some much needed quality time together to just be us.

Here are some photos from our little anniversary lunch..
