Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Go Liquid Eyeshadows

Hey everyone,

Now I know that I am kind of late to the bandwagon with this post, but 1) better late than never, and 2) I wanted to make sure I had given all three shades a fair chance before writing a post on them. The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Go Liquid Eyeshadows (woah what a long name!) were pretty much a global phenomenon when they were first released a few months ago. I (like the whole beauty community) was seeing them all over social media and immediately felt like I wanted to test them out. I mean they just looked out of this world and when a beauty guru like Jaclyn Hill says something is incredible, I tend to believe her! I headed over to the Boots website hoping I’d be able to get one or two shades on there, only to find that they were all sold out. I was so gutted! I tweeted about how sad I was and some girl (lifesaver) tweeted back and told me to try Feel Unique. I squealed with excitement when I saw they had all shades in stock!

I bought three shades which I know to some maybe a little excessive, but I just couldn’t help myself. I bought Rose Gold Retro (duh) which is literally what it says on the box, a GORGEOUS rose gold colour, Kitten Karma which is a copper toned colour, and Diamond Dust which is like a silvery colour. They are all just stunning. They have a water infused blend of pearl and glitter that has been created to give the ultimate impact but as lightweight as possible with a quick drying time.

When applying these beautiful products to my lids, I like to go in with my crease shades first to make sure that everything looks nice and blended. I then apply the product directly to my eyelid with the applicator wand as I find that this works better than trying to transfer it on to another brush or anything. Because it’s liquid, it just glides on. The applicator is a thick, but fluffy and flexible little wand which makes applying the product super easy. It is also a really good size so you can apply the product into your inner corner and up to your crease really easily. They do dry very quickly however, and once it’s on it’s there to stay! I then like to go in with a crease shade just one more time to tie everything together.

These are without a doubt the prettiest products I have ever used. If you’re into intense, sparkly glitter then you HAVE to try these if you already haven’t. I really don’t think you can go wrong! They are sold at Boots, Feel Unique, the Stila website (I think they have a UK one) and I think Beauty Bay are also selling them now too. They aren’t cheap at £23 a pop, but my goodness they are worth it for me! So I think I have answered the all important question.. YES they are most definitely worth the hype.

Let me know if you guys have tried any and what you think! Thank you so much for reading.
