In the last year or so, I’ve struggled with my skin quite a bit. I have very combination skin, very oily in some places and dry in others and it can be one of the most difficult things to manage. Someone recommended to me the Seaweed collection for oily and combination skin from The Body Shop. One of my sisters work colleagues is a Body Shop representative and so after doing some research I decided to order some products through her and give them a go and so far I love them! A couple of the products that I wanted are currently out of stock, but the ones I have managed to get hold of I’m really loving!
I have got myself into a little routine on an evening and are using them on the daily. I use my normal cleanser to remove my makeup (I use the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish), followed by the Seaweed Cleansing Gel Wash to make sure my face is completely clean, then every other night (usually on a hair wash night so I remember when to do it) I use the Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator to exfoliate. My skin always feels so smooth after using these two products! After that I use the Seaweed Oil Balancing Toner with a cotton pad and use that on my face, neck, chest and upper back. And finally I use the Seaweed Oil-Control Lotion which contains SPF 15. I’m currently using this in the morning and the evening because the Seaweed Oil-Control Overnight Gel is currently out of stock and has been for some time! Although as soon as it comes back I’ll be snapping some right up! I also eventually want to get the Seaweed Oil Balancing Clay Mask and the Seaweed Oil-Control Gel Cream to add to the collection and see how they work but for now I’m happy with my little routine I have going on. Although I am still suffering with the odd breakout which I’m pretty sure is hormonal (being a woman sucks!) I have noticed such a difference already! My skin is smoother, definitely less oily and looks the healthiest it has looked in ages. I’m so happy I spent the money on some decent skincare products and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who suffers with oily/combination skin like me!
What skin products do you swear by? I’d love to know! Thank you for reading.
